EXCURSION PROGRAMME

Spend a day exploring one of the most iconic locations of the Campania Region with a day trip to the evocative island of Capri. Cruise to the island by ferry, take a guided tour to landmarks like the Villa San Michele, and enjoy some free time to visit at your leisure before your early evening ferry back to the mainland.

Make your way to the pier and board a comfortable ferry for a pleasant sail across the water to Capri, admiring a breathtaking view of the hazy blue cliffs, tumbling pastel villages, and rugged shoreline from Amalfi to Sorrento. Arrive in Capri and disembark, hopping into a comfortable minibus to begin your tour of the island.

Stop in the quiet town of Anacapri to visit the Villa San Michele, built by Swedish doctor and author Axel Munthe on the ruins of an ancient Roman site. From the villa's gardens, take in a sweeping panorama over the island. Next, continue on to the chic town of Capri itself. Have lunch on your own in town if you'd like, and then visit the Gardens of Augustus, a lush botanical park perched on terraces overlooking the sea and the Faraglioni Rocks along the coast.

Stroll around the Piazza Umberto I, snapping photos of its pretty white church or take a seat at an open-air cafe to have a drink while watching the world go by. Take some time to browse the island's elegant boutiques before heading back to the port for your return ferry to Amalfi.

Tour could be cancelled due to inclement sea conditions
